I texted u lol
my bad, phone dead at the moment. i think 3 hours would be enough. The recommended safe dosage is about 100 mg per 300 gallons. I on the other hand didnt know and have been feeding 250 mg in my 300. i put in a 250 pill this morning. going to see how it works out for my new female marbled when i get back home. i'll text you the results. as of now i have all lights off though to keep stress down.

I would not take that advice. Its sketchy at best. Take advice from others with experience.

Dont move the male, and dont stop your drip. Dont add extra BS to your water. Its completely unnecessary. Divide the male off and leave the lights off. He will come around. Don't worry 2 much. I have had rays go 20-30 some days without eating before. Don't go poking at him or try to force food under him with a feeding stick. When he is ready to eat he will.

Check Ur water pararmeters sometimes when u add huge fish Ur bioload is prolly a lot higher since u added the new fish also I always treat new fish with prazipro. But +1 new fish sometimes have new tank syndrome I would turn the lights off and keep an eye on his weight

Lights off. Separate in same tank. Keep the drip going. Don't treat with meds if he simply isn't eating. It's a common occurrence. Just diminish the stress and offer chopped live earthworms or live ghost shrimp just to get him eating something. I'd seriously check all water perameters even if you're sure they're good. The only time I've ever had Rays refuse food are when they're new arrivals or when water has turned toxic usually after the addition of multiple Rays which shocked bio filtration. A Prazipro treatment may be a good safe treatment and may stimulate the Ray to eat but this requires shutting down the drip system for a good amount of time unless you're ready to add Prazipro for the amount of water change everyday which isn't the best idea for the pocket book.

I personally disagree, but that's just an opinion. I just feel sometime the mere presence of other fish floating around, or pouncing aggressively on food during feeding, is enough to spook them not to try to eat. I have never heard about the b1 thing so can't comment on how fast it works. Good luck.

There is no other fish but the 2 females and another male and female that are less then 9 inches .......

Like I said before I checked the perams everything is fine.... there is more then enough biological filteration for the bio load even though it may be large ....

I honestly think he's just still stressed from the move....

Yea I wasn't going to move him that would just add more stress. ..... thing is all these rays will be moved in 3 weeks to my 600 gallon

lol don't be in a hurry, let him get settled in and put some weight back on before you go switching all around again.
