I hope I have finally found a place where I can get some answers. I have 2 stingrays who are 14". A motoro and another one I don't know. They are in a 125 gallon tank (6x2x2). I am planning on moving them to an indoor pond. It is 11 x 15 x 2 (2500 gallons) It is heated to 78 degrees. Here is the glitch - there are 5 turtles (5" or less) and 10 koi (2' and bigger) Can they all live together? I can move some of the koi out but not until spring since my outside pond if frozen over.
Also, how much should I be feeding my rays? Right now they each get 6 large nightcrawlers every day. They look really fat to me. I have seen lots of posts on WHAT to feed, just not how much to feed.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey.. Ive seen rays with koi. Just have to make sure the koi dont pick at the rays. And koi crap alot.. so water quality is a question.. whats you water like in the pond? how many water changes? Not too sure about the turtles.. its been a toss up for some time now.. so are great.. so are disasters.. the tank you listed is a 180 also... anyways... someone else will chime in, good luck!!

and please post up some pics of your rays!

I will try to get pics tomorrow before I move them to the pond. I do regular water changes on the pond since it is in a shop. I have great filtration as I tend to overfilter everything. I have dragon gobies waiting impatiently to move into the stingray tank. They are currently in a 55 gallon tank and are 18" long.
How big do motoros get? Feeding tips?

Motoros can get 25+inches quick. feeding would be done with tongs.. that would make it easy in the pond..

I think you would have an issue with water quality!! Turtles, Koi, and Stingrays are all SUPER messy in their own right, let alone combined and over-stocked!!

Even with a flow-through system, algae grazing koi and sharp-clawed turtles are not a rays best friend..

The combos are do-able, but the tank size would have to be 10x in my opinion..

i wouldn't put any type of turtle in with fish anyhow,i know it's been done but personally i wouldn't,all these species are great in separate aquariums/ponds though
