  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
definately sounds like some kind of bacteria which i would think the uv serilizer would of taken care of that.....is bulb burnt out on the uv? or is the water flow too much for the uv to do its job? good luck and hope everything goes for the better

deff do salt and waterchanges.

when i had rays in small tanks, it would happen real quick.

LiuSu was having water quality issues from overfeed.. and although is water would test out fine, I think he still had a massive amount of dissolved organic waste building up in his system..

He said using a 'polyfilter' really cleared up his water quality issues, although expensive, it's super effective..

and the advice of the others, obviously!!

(It makes me wonder if spring nutrient contet plays a roll in some of these stingray issues popping up?)

what type of 'polyfilter'???? i have this problem too. if they get a little picky with their food, the water clouds up. im having trouble getting a good routine down.

will uneaten foods build up phosphates, which might play a part?

thats what he uses.... i use chemipure though lasts long with same effect

i added alot of chemipure last night
i know this stuff is the best and have used it before
lets see if it helps

wow chemipure is expensive... u think a half dose would help, or is a full dose the only way to go?

how long does it last? 1 month, 2 months?

at full dose they bottle says up to 6 months which is hard to believe
and yes it is expensive
i would do full dose if able to
