STINGRAYS FROM BRAZIL - UPDATES

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The first step is to designate an organization for breeding rays. That group should be recognized as a sure source of legal rays and thus reputable to sell. Foriegn politics are assnine. I'll pull for you DW. I got $8 I can donate to the cause!

oh well, its not like so cal people get to keep rays legally anyways.

we got the perfect climate for these animals if they legalize a farm here which is the same reason why they are illegal in these states.

My dog at them...

You know if you were REALLY into the fish you would go ahead and build an installation in California. It's legal if you have a permit!

We wanted to start a ray and other species farm in Brazil...we were asked for a $100K "fee"..in cash!
we said "screw it"
Where is Li?? :naughty:

People make the pet industry sound like an enviornmentally detrimental hobby, but the fact is, more fish are killed for food, by water contamination, or by simply waste killing than what is being collected and sold as pets. Remember that "rare and exotic" (and expensive) fishes are only shared among the little percentages of fish keepers, as most people keep the bread and butter fish that is more than likely farm bred rather than wild caught.

the reason they are banned in your state and other hotter states in the US is they grow so big and if released into the wild they could easyly live breed and wipe out lots of your natural aquatic life
