Stingrays with aggressive cichlids...can it work?

Just wondering if anyone has motoros with agro tankmates like dovii,butti,umbees etc? Can it be done?

i have kept motoros with very mean fish they were scared of the rays

I had a teacup lose an eye once. Not pretty. I've heard horror stories about torn disks, etc but I've also seen pics of a motoro in with a 5" festae. Hard to say how well that worked long term.

DO NOT DO it
i tried that with problems
if the ray is small they cichlids will stress it out and pick at is causing torn disks!
if the ray it bigger it might eat the cichlids!
DO NOT DO IT!!!!
Dovi kill everything so its out of the question
same with all the large cichlids

I keep my adult rays with 4-5 inch cichlids... no problems, but must observe them closely.

have you ever been bitten by a large aggresive cichlid? it leaves teethmarks and a nice bloody wound. then think howq soft a stingrays eye is! dont do it.
