I have a 150 gallon tank and was reading through the sticky on this forum and wanted to know:

Can these three species of stingray really live in my tank?

What is their average pricing?

What would I need to feed them?

Potamotrygon Scobina
Potamotrygon cf. Hystrix
Potamotrygon Reticulata

Not in a 150g permanently. If it’s planned as a grow out then yes.

Can eat worms, cut up fish and shrimp. Can take most pellets. Cb are easier to get on food than wild caught rays.

But the sticky said my foot print was good. Good thing I asked

Most of the ray guys require bigger space. Mini marbles you may be able to get away with the size but haven’t seen any available. Haven’t seen scobinas available either.

Let some of the ray guys give their opinion as well. Better to always ask.

If you're going to get into rays, do it right. Plan and save and get yourself a large tank, proper filtration, and all that good stuff. Keeping rays isn't something to be taken lightly. All of us who have success keeping rays long term keep them in large tanks with overkill filtration. Jamming even the smallest species into a small tank will present problems in the long run.
