hey guys. i work at a car dealership. and i was talking to the manager about how we could get more people to come back. i told him we should set up a fish tank with some cool stuff in it to my surprise he was totally down with the idea. so here is my question what would you put in the tank. its only 55 gallons keep that in mind. thanks

I would do acommunity tank. Angels, tetras, rasboras, and attractive smaller species. Otherwise i might do a pair of discus with rummynoses

i just started growing some plants so that might be a good idea

African cichlids. A local car wash has a large display (about 200 gallons). Customers sit and view it while their car is being washed. Really neat tank.

I'd fill it with either african mbuna if you want a more 'aggressive' look to the tank, or if you want peaceful then plant it and get a giant school of small community fish that will stay active. You obviously want something that's catching to the eye and both directions will work, it's just whether you want an aggressive or peaceful atmosphere wherever you're putting the tank. Waiting room, I'd say the community setup. Show room, all aggressive.

I'd go with Mbuna a mbuna set up can rival that of saltwater sometimes. to the average person who doesnt know about fish africans are literally the same as marine

I was gonna do the joke about something really slimy and agressive, but only because I used to work at a dealership too.. :P

I agree with the others above, African cichlid tank would be awesome.
