thats a good suggestion. i hadnt really considered a gt because i thought it may be too agressive for the chocolate. i know hes big and tough, but i wasnt sure
its cloudy because the pic was taken about 30 minutes after i added water. also, the pea gravel apparently wasnt rinsed enough and its still got some junk on it.
i didnt move fish yet because my heater isnt strong enough to heat the big tank. i will need to get another tomorrow and warm things up.
also, i had a new piece of wood that does not yet sink... i threw it in my 75 with the fish since i had taken out all their stuff. snapped a pic because i just thought it looked kind of cool.
hopefully tomorrow i can share pictures of the fish in the 150.
its funny you say that, the more i look at it, i like it too. i think i will give it a shot tomorrow in the big tank. ive had small floating pieces before, but the big one kind of works.
In my 150G, I have a choc, a sev, and a V.bifasciatus (although the bifa is still small)as the centrepiece fish. Also have a festivum, a G.steindachneri and a small shoal of bleeding heart tetras. As a tank, it all works very nicely indeed.

Well it utilizes the top part of a 150g, which I like. I think I'll be looking into doing something along these lines as the top 1/3 of my 150 looks so bare.
couple of updated pics of the 150. i added 6 brochis (7 total now). other than that, im trying to figure out wha tto do with all the open space. also still not sure what i want as far as final stock.
