delhezi bichirs are cool and have fun patterns.
Have you thought of a nice alage eater??
I have a 4-5'' flagtail that keeps my tank 100% clean. You'll have plenty of room for a flagtail prochiodulis.
Plus a trio of redhook silverdollars myleus rubrippinis) or widebar sd (myleus schmoburgkii) would look cool.

Buying a fish for cleaning = pointless and ignorant. Removing algae from tanks is pointless IMO, it helps "filter" the water naturally, and gives certain omnivorous fish something to snack on.

I love how you only suggest to people the fish that you currently have:ROFL:

I don't know AJ, if thats your opinion fine, but whats the point your trying to make?? If you don't like cleaning fish thats you, other people are different.

The point is, most "cleaning fish" end up overlooked and neglected. If you want a Prochilodus, fine, but getting one just to eat algae is stupid and wasteful.

Proches are beautiful fish, but their eat : poop ratio is about 1:1 I'm afraid, goes for anything that lives I've heard.

Your right about that one... I can't argue that point with you.... just take a look at all the plecos at wal-mart, petco, etc and even worse craigslist. I seen a 12'' one sitting in a wal-mart 10 gallon for $15 dollars.
But to the Prochilodus point, they aren't just alage eaters... They are vegetarians. which means it is up to the owner to provide lettuce, flakes, etc..... my fei feng eats everything......

Are you implying that my 12" L021 is "just an algae eater"? The same L021 that works hard with my SDs to eliminate anything green in the tank?

yeah, thats what i was thinking with the pleco, a combo of cool and beneficial

i like flagtails, but ive heard they grow really slowly and are expensive at decent sizes

I strongly doubt that it will filter the tank enough to actually make a dent in the nitrates, and its ugly + why should it become a snack for omnivorous fish when it can become a snack for fish that actually have algae in their natural diet? I completely understand the point you are trying to get across and I commend you for it, but chill your nuts. I'm a year older than you and trust me when I say don't get on people's bad sides, whether its some person on the internet that you'll never meet, or some dbag at school. Also, what's wrong with suggesting fish that he has firsthand experience with to someone?

Refer to above.
