definitely a Male.

Wow look at the color. Mine must be female, she doesn't have the blue in the finnage like yours. Her color changes a lot though, from dark brown to almost a rusty red and from very little green to a lot of green. Wish I could get a half-decent pic but my cam and my skills are lacking :(

Oh and I want in on the aquascaping tour :)

I wasn't sure what fish you were talking about then! Chocolates are much like Severums in the way that they will heavily vary their body colour depending on location and mood. Mine can go anywhere from a white chocolate colour to an incredibly dark brown or olive green depending on what's going on.

I'm quite certain mines a male because of the fin extensions he's developing, as well as how wide his body gets as he grows. Time may prove me otherwise :p

I like my Sevs and Chocolate too much to trade them for Uaru, too bad :p

Double post nastiness.

They're out and about sifting sand now, really entertaining fish to watch just like my other Eartheaters. Still not feeding from the surface but they've all eaten sinking scraps, it seems to take fish a while to adapt to the 28" high tank.

Few photos from today that I liked, been trying a new method and I believe it's working nicely, quite happy with these.

Average photo of the three of them.

Slightly out of focus/blurring on that shot but I liked it too much to not share, nice and dynamic.

Average H. temporalis photo, he's never at the front glass so he's basically impossible to get quality photos of.

A. heckelii, was using such a low aperture that it's head is slightly fuzzy though.

Got myself a new avatar too ;)
