sweet open top river tank river tank with some rocks coming out of the water and a turtle and some loaches and tetras

sounds like a great poly tank... a few pinktails and some highfins..

sounds like a great tank to grow out some aros in as well.. the footprint is good but the hight is a bit shallow..

yah i agree with most people. some bichirs would look cool in there. a decent number of them. or a lima or 2x and a couple of polys. . .. im not sure about gars. maybe a florida or something would be alright in that depth? im not sure if they are or not just throwin it out there

although gar most often frequent the lower portion of their tanks, gar do swim at various levels. i think you need a bottom-dwelling tank.

Brackish....now there's a new idea I hadn't thought of...THANKS, gonna store that in the memory banks...

I'll post some pics next week...

x2 :iagree:

A brackish tank would be killer. You could have large plants over the top of the tank/mangroves in the tank and stock it with various archer fish. Watching them shoot down prey from the leaves would be awesome. I've kept mudskippers and they are fun but I always wanted to a large archerfish tank. I got 15 mangrove trees you could have. All over 12" tall.

Archerfish
Dragon gobys
BW flounders

Brackish seems like a sweet idea. An Aquatic turtle seems like it would be good also. You could get a musk turtle and get some catfish too.
