I was thinking about buying a stock tank so that i could make a lagoon out of it nothing special looking but something that can hold them until i had enough money to really spoof it up but for now i wanted to start out with the bare minimums filter and chiller (chiller will be a problem for money reasons ). the size tank I'm thinking of getting is 610 gallons so its only so many things that it cant hold but I've always been very fond of the banded hound shark I know this is very pricey about as much as the whole build would be if u include shipping . but I have heard that they are hardy sharks and are truly beautiful and unique I haven't ever had a shark before but i have handled things on the more difficult side( red tail barracuda) i got one and got him to eat in first try with no prior knowledge of very difficult fish. but now he has passed i live with my brother and i had him in a crowded tank so i said not to turn of the filter for oxygen reasons but he did anyways so 4 months of great care and 110$ went down the drain. So i know i am capable of handling bigger task and. Also we live in Houston TX so it gets hot and wanted to put it in garage but a chiller would be a definite for keeping temp to 70 when sometimes it reaches over 100 here but i was also wondering about putting a 50 gal sump in there. But i was just wondering if there is possibly anything that you can bring to my attention that i may have missed( not dealing with my prior experience of shark keeping pls lets stick to the script". and sorry for the year long read lol.

If you actually was intrested in it then I will be showing start of the build after the summer or during

Lol lvl learned if ya wanna show off your fish or sell some then come here if you want support or info look elsewhere

People on here more than happy to help out, however due to the tendency for some strange people to come on here and lie, I guess for attention or giggles, sometimes we need some proof from new members claiming big tanks. Surely its not hard to show a PIC or two of progress, if it were me I'd be ecstatic to show some true hobbyist's my progress.
If you can provide proof then we shall all give you an appology, and follow this thread intentivley. Otherwise, go back to your hole kangadrew

Ha thts why I said I just wanted from someone who's been doing this for awhile some general info like best and cheapest chillers that maybe a dumps the best but it's not a fancy or expensive build it's a stock tank not a 5000 gal acrylic and also I said I'm still saving fer thw whole project

But like I said it will mostly done by the summers end so if ya wanna see the progress you can come then I just wanted general info for now on equipment and the shark which noone really has

It's not that we don't want to support you, but you are doing something very unique.
I don't have any background experience to help.
I think it's a cool project, I hope you get it to work.
Where are you going to get the 610 gallon stock tank?
