I use a 300 gal for my Gymnos outside in the backyard.
Have used it for Tilapia and others in the past.

Sunk it in the ground last summer.

I have seen people use 800gal blue plastic stocktanks to grow water lilies with goldfishes in them; they stand up by themself, no need to burry them. Check out tractorsupply.com.

Work like a charm. Already have one for my koi. Getting ready to add another for some grow out catfish. Just add a couple of canister filters and your ready to go...

Great looking plants. Are you happy with the quality of the water trough, if you do not bury it will it warp if filled close to top?

What brand do you have?.

Thanks

The ones pictured above will not warp if left above grade and filled. I would reason the he buried it for aesthetic reasons.
