mine has eaten rocks, airstones, various S American Cichlids, a TSN, an arowana. Now I just keep RT's by themselves

Rocks and airstones????? Geez, it amazes me that it's still alive! Definitely can't digest those!

No captive RTC hasn't eaten any thing that is owner hasn't let it!! Don't demonize the fish, demonize the bad owner that swore the ray was too big to eat, then the RTC folded it and ate it like a fish taco!!

Nobody is demonizing anything what are you talking about? RTC's surprise us all with the things that they fit in there mouths. A misjudgment does not automatically make someone a bad owner. if they do it again THEN they are the negligent/bad owner.

Mine is about 19" long and about 5" across the back of his head and just swallowed a 6" green severum that I thought would be too tall for him to get in his mouth. I've gotten rid of all the other fish I used to keep with him as he has grown, waited too long for that one lol! He will be solo from now on. He used to be cool with other fish cause I kept him well fed but as he has gotten larger everything has become a target whether it's too big to eat or not.
