Stocking 100 gal biotope

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's personal taste at the end of the day,but I think a group of lents in a river rapid type biotope with some swords and maybe add a few helleri will have longer lasting interest than just one pair of grammodes.
Even a species only tank with just the Lents should give years of interest.Interaction and the forming of hierarchies within the group should be quite interesting to observe.
I don't think they come cheap though.Have you been given any prices on the Lents yet Dan?

Not got prices of the lents yet, I think there going to cost a few quid though, cota have Theraps irregularis at $36, 2 inch.
On a side note my helleri just spawned

These guys are about an inch long now.I will add them to the rest of the group soon.

I got my lents off a friend of Rusty Wessel.
Rusty gave them to him and he has a breeding group now.
I can ask him if he has any fry going if you like.
I want to get a few more myself.

Yea please mate, that would be great

Ok I will get in touch with him. They are from rio corzo.
I will let you know what he says.

My vote is the myersi. Probably obvious given my SA kick I'm on. What's interesting is that a vendor brought in some geophagus from the Caqueta river which I think would make a great tankmate for them. I currently have red head tapajos with mine.
