jaws7777, I agree with you, it is not about picking a favorite fish/cichlid...

I love tiger barbs but wouldnt recommend them in this situation lol.

With a tank this big the op can really go nuts has lots of options. I never owned a syn but no way on the world would i compare it to a "floating log" that fish is outright beautiful.

Wow nice.... i have a juvie and have to say....doesnt play well with others. Almost killed two heterospilus and beat up two other argentea this was at about 2.5 inch mark. My fav fish though. All these guys are different from one fish to another
