Stocking 60 gal tank?

What would the minimum tank size for life be?Also my LFS has king tiger dats for £49 what are they?They're not all that nice..

It is called Tetraodon schoutedeni I think and it is apparenty a good community fish, I may get 4 wild angels or 4 platnium ones =]]

depends on what dat you have. some will only grow to 12-14" so, youd be fine with a 75/90, but a 6' tank would be best (125/150). i personally like a 120 wide myself.

LFS will label them wrong all the time. if it looks white with black stripes its a AT (silver datnoid), if its more yellow/orange looking, or if it just looks black in the tank, it could be a IT (indo datnoid) or NTT (thin bar datnoid). its really hard for me to say without being able to see it.
a lot of times they dont look good at the lfs because of poor water conditions, or stress from all the traffic in the store. but as soon as you get them settled in your tank, you will be amazed at the difference.

Silver dat sounds nice =]] Hmm so my tank is slightly too small?Should I make the most of it and try to get silvers and then get three of them or just leave it with one?

like i said, depending on how big they are, you will be ok for a long time.
with dats you want to either have one or 3+. 2 in a tank doesnt usually work out. it CAN, but its best to have a few or just one.
