Hi all, I'm wondering what you guys think I should stock my 75g with?
I will for sure be moving my oscar to it, but I don't know what else to add. I was thinking maybe another oscar but I'd rather have two different fish than two the same.

Bright colors is what I'm really going for.

I look up the festae. I like the color. Is a festae a common fish? I haven't seen any ever at my lfs

EBJD, IMO. (Too many acronyms in one sentence!)
They're usually very vibrant fish and work quite well with Oscars. I may get one to accompany my oscars when I upgrade my tank.

:iagree:

Only I issue, I would think, with an EBJD is finding on that's a little bigger since Oscars grow so fast and EBJDs are fairly slow growers, at least at first. Even if they start off the same size as juvies the Oscar will soon be the larger by far.

Granted you need to know your oscar and how aggressive he is.

Def. stay away from the female Festae, the footprint is too small. She wiil kill the oscar when she is grown.

I agree with that on the festae. The oscar depending on how big may not want company. Mine does not want a friend of any type. So he lives alone in his 90 gal.
