stocking a 125 gal

I would decide on either the trigger or lion, triggers will eat the dorsal spines, i would personally take both of them off the list. Also the miniatus grouper don't get any bigger than 9 inches in an aquarium.

the problem isn't so much with the stocking but agression down the line.. i suppose adding them to a brand spanking new tank wouldn't be much of a problem.. but the time inbetween when you set it up and the new fish are introduced, there's going to be some pretty well established territory

true...haha unfortuantly i look at it as "i will worry about it when the time comes" haha and like you said i may regret but as far as fish im sayin it isnt a set decision but if i cut out the lion lets say...
minaitus
angel
picasso
snowflake? or zebra moray

now is that too much?? as juvys to mid adults probably then when i set up the 300 in a yr/yr and half(hopefully sooner) when introduce them like bg said about the territorial issue maybe there will be ways to prevent it.....ie start the tank with lots of rock and hiding places for them to have lots of choices for there territory so they will not have to fight over some? like i said tho i guess i can worry about that when the time comes tho right now i really wanna stock this so its not like a waste of money and time haha ya no

Zebra eel for sure, they are one of the least aggressive. I think triggers are naturally aggressive so im not sure how to prevent it.

as for RIGHT NOW.. the grouper, eel and trigger (tends to be one of the more 'peaceful' trigger) would be fine in the 125..

the angel and other fish i would add later once the 30 is setup

alright well i might have to pass on my favorite fish but it may be worth it in the end ya no thanks bg and everyone else that helped i apreciate it
