plecos are a must in a community tank
? they get huge too......don't hate on pacus.....i have two........Look up eeltail catfish or plotosus catfish on google or go to fishbase.com and enter plotosus as genus, there are several species and they range from around a foot to over 5'. The darkfin is (I think) from Australia, they are easy keepers if you have room but not real common to find.fishlover74 said:WOW!!! That Eeltail Cat is awesome...where can I find out more about that fish??? Im definately gonna have to check up on it maybe google. Thanx.
One of my favorites. I would love to get a few of thoseLooking through some old pics I was reminded of this guy, not common in the trade but a beauty if you can find it, the white-dotted grouper (Epinephelus polystigma), it is brackish to fully freshwater and only gets 15"
I agree but I disagree that plecos are a must. You can get those siamese algea eaters if algea is a problem and you probably won't notice them ever! They'll do the job. But maybe when you suddenly notice they're 6 inches or more....Oh well; they'll still be hid. ing. Stay away from Pacus and Catfish but I would definitely invite Dats. Dats definitely have personalityif u got the money, then go for a school of atfs, dats or if you're really rich go for bumble bee groupers lol..
