Hello new to the forum , made a thread about building a dump and figured this is appropriate for another thread. I was wondering what you guys think about this stock for a 180g 72x24x24

7 geophagus Tapajos
2 Severums
1 EBA
8 Congo Tetras
6 Bosemani Rainbows
6 Yoyo Loach

To much , more or just perfect?

Reasoning is I am closing down my 90g and my 125g to hopefully combien that stock into a 180g with a 75g sump. I do have other tanks running if it does turn out to be to much.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe beaked killifish or a African butterfly

Thanks for the suggestion ,I will take a look at the beaked killifish since I have never heard of it.

+ 1 chalceus and several more EBAs

I really like the look of the Chalceus! I'm researching the info on them. Thanks

Stocking looks pretty good just as it is to me. You could get away with a few more small things if you wanted.

By smaller things what do you mean? like a group of small dithers? or a few more EBA's?

I do have a quick question any potential suggestions on dithers that stay up top besides Hatchet fish?

+1 on the chalceus suggestion. Great top water fish. I got mine at 3" and he's maxed out at around 9-10". Loves worms and is lightning fast to get them when I throw them in. Stunning big silvery brassy scales, very large eyes, yellow pelvic fins and of course it's very large red caudal fin. A good lid is a must, they are jumpers if given the chance. Only downside for me is that they can be a bit skittish.

Few more EBA's could work or other small SA cichlids. Chalceus would work as well. I just meant, I wouldn't get any more large-growing full bodied fish. But a few small additions in the same direction your stock is already going, would be doable. WIth that said, I think your at a good level already, so if you were to just leave it, would look great.
