haha i know right! it was a blind cast, we had moved to the deep water and had a baby cast net, maybe 3 feet wide and just threw it to practice, BOOM, big flounder and a baby about maybe 2 inches. Was kinda wild lol. Biggest thing we caught all day. We have recently got word of a 24' silver arowana that we are in the process of getting in gainesville. If we can get him...BOY...I CANT WAIT! Ill post more pics soon.
me either, i know hes doin well tho. Moves all around an doesnt get bothered by anyone. Its amazing to watch him go from dark to light water, he changes colors instantly. Ill have to get a video on youtube here soon.
i dont know what type that is but the "doles" is what there other name is says they dont get past 6in? then another place said 8? idk what u feedin him and it could be a SW flounder that lives in FW but thats weird. i'll have to buy 1 to find out
I looked it up, its a Trinectes maculatus (sole, flounder, hogchoaker) heres a website that has some info on it http://www.fishbase.org/Summary/SpeciesSummary.php?id=4260 and it says up to 8 inches, and thats prolly around the range he is. Maybe a lil bigger.
