stocking a 55 gallon

hey guys, im trying to figure out what type of fish i would want to put in my 55 gallon.
i was thinking of having it a single species tank, maybe just one fish if possible. but my mind is kinda blank right now lol. it doesnt matter if its a native fish or tropical. thanks guys

Im setting up a 55 as a red wolf fish tank.

Theres lots of possibilities

Here are some of those possibilities,

-Lots of Sunflower/Brichardi Cichlids
-Some German Blue Rams
-Some Blood Red Jewel Cichlids
-Some Lionhead Cichlids
-Some Apistogrammas
-Some Discus
-Some Pink Convicts
-Other Dwarf Cichlids

But if you want something 'big' then you could get a single firemouth, a single black convict, or possibly even a single gold severum which each get to be around 6" max size

the red tail barracuda and the red wolf fish sound like a pretty good idea
i was planning on just having a single fish for this tank

I would put a trio of orange head geophagus 1 m and 2 f. Then maybe a synodontis catfish.

Get a flower horn or even a pair of parrot .... both are great fish with very attractive personalities
