Did you read everything? And i have clamp lamps, 1 for UVB and the other for heat and UVA and they are aquatic turtles and all need exercise so its ok for them to swim alot.

wasnt trying to be ignorant. you would know if i was. like i said just giving my suggestion(s) and a few i found on the web out there which all say it shouldnt be done for the sake of the turtle, they have different needs

But the problem here is that i was not looking for advice on turtle keeping, i was looking for advice on fish. I have everything needed for the turtles including the dock on which the bask a lot. And semi aquatic turtles only need a place where they can dry up and get sun which i have. Fully aquatic turtles don't bask at all. So RES are more aquatic. Thanks for the suggestion though, but i think my turtles are doing just fine.
