I was wondering was aggressive cichlids in this tank no convicts it is very wide to

deppi, salvini, sajica would be some options. Solo male or maybe pair would probably be fine, i'd stick with fish that get to like 8" max.

not much in the long term scheme of things( i have the same size tank) you could get more non aggressive small cichlids but aggressive will end up getting ROWDY in that size tank.

What most people consider "aggression" in cichlids, is really just territorial behavior and you aren't really offering a lot of territory in that.
A pair of Neetroplus would be a little sticks of dynamite in there.

I was going to say Honduran red point but I think there a form of convict but way better in my eyes.

Geo's are always good but won't last long in a tank that size would need upgrading once they get some size.
