Would C. regani or C. compressiceps be good candidates, or would it be possible for a pair of larger pikes.

I sent yaz a PM, but I'll elaborate in here. Two 90gals huh? Oooo LaLa! Great fun we shalt have.
90gal community:
5 - Crenicichla compressiceps (get rid or move the other three once you get a pair )
4 - Cupid Cichlids
5 - Serpae Tetras
8 - Cardinal Tetras
6 - BrokenLine Tetras
That should give yaz lots of action and color...lol. The compressiceps should leave the cardinals alone...I've known of several people that actually keep them in the same tank.

4 - Crenicichla sveni (remove the others once a pair forms)
1 - Amphilophus festae (female)
1 - Amphilophus lyonsi
1 - Caquetaia spectabile
that should fill that tank up nicely...LoL.
There are so many options for yaz out there....just open your mind to the possibilities. If you wanna keep a fewer fish you could go for some of the larger fish...
...ie...Crenicichla sp. 'cobra', Crenicichla marmorata, Crenicichla lenticulata...and the list goes on...
