Keep in mind the rotkiel is a smaller species than what was used to make the gold by a good three inches. If you are going to keep one of the sevs, the rotkiel would be the better choice for the tank you have.

Good advice. I'm worried about the rot as it doesn't seem to be growing much. He eats well so it's probably worry over nothing. I wasn't aware the rots were that much smaller. But that's good to know.

So a couple of sellers have popped up recently with some sajica fry. If I were to have 6 sajica fry of 1 inch or less, could i have them grow out in a standard 10 gallon? Or would a 20g long with kuhlis and a couple guppies be better to grow out in? Or should i split them up? Any advice would be appreciated.
