I can pm you the info of the seller I bought him from; he was sold as a polli and was a really good price... I know he has a bunch in stock

I have had cannablistic predation of polys before, idk why they were fine for a week no fin nips feeding them brine shrimp and live feeders, then my senegal (4in.) Was gone, checked all around the tank and he didn't escape, so he was eaten by my Ornate Bichir which at the time was about 8 in. They were well fed, there were even live minnows in the tank after it happened!

Your issue is twofold:

1. live feeders. If you feed your fish live food they are going to be more likely to go after live fish...if fed pellets they are less likely to associate tank mates as food.
2. ornate compared to senegal. very rarely do you hear of a senagal taking out another large fish...ornates on the other hand see to be the most likely to predate on other polys (check the forums.)

I am running a 3 tank setup with Aqua Bridges between all 3 tanks 60 G Hex, 55 G and 75 G. I have a total of 40 fish in the setup 8 of those are Poly's.

My Poly's do explore the tanks on occasion but always end up back in the 60 G Hex tank. out of the 8, 7 Poly's hide and roam the 60 G all day. The one odd ball that isn't in the 60 G is one of my Endli's, he is hanging with the Cichlids in the 55 G.
My biggest is my Delhezi at 10" and my smallest is my newest Ornate at 4.5".
I had an issue prior to this group of 8 Poly's. I had an Ornate about 7" and a Sene about 4" well I fed them and went to bed and in the Morning I woke up to a dead Del and the Sene stuck in his mouth dead also. The Del couldn't choke down the Sene and ended up committing fishicide.

yeah, i think if the big one is a sen, your odds seem to go way down in losing a fish or two.

Thankfully My Del and my biggest Endli have been leaving my Ornate alone. I have an Albino Sene that I think is stunted in growth because he is also about 4.5" like My Ornate and all the Big boys are used to him.
