Currently i have a 3ftx 2 x 2 tank (fully cycled) with very little in it and im in the process of setting up a 6x2x2 tank, but i havent even finished making the stand for it yet and due to work shifts i cant see it being done for at least 3 months.

I already keep a sub adult quadri datnoid in the small tank and want to move him into the 6footer, but i also want to add some more datnoids perhaps have 4 or 5 in the tank. What im wondering is that the store can get me quadris, microlepis and the cambeli but all are about 4-6inch. Could i mix these species of datnoid with little quarrel, and could i mix these smaller ones be mixed with the big quadri if they are put in the big tank at the same time, or could i place the juvies in the smaller tank with my adult till i finish the big tank off?. And the very last thing is can anyone tell me how many datnoids i could optimally keep in the 6 foot tank with a royal panaque?

I know im asking a lot of stuff but i want the tank to be right and the tigers to be happy, many thanks in advance

the silver tiger will probably kick crap out of them as they are aggressive

Your always going to get some fighting, especially if you decide to get more then 1 NGT. Dats are usually alittle better when dealing with other dats of a different size. So depending on how large ur silver is now, you would prob be ok until the new ones start getting larger. Of coarse this isn't a deffinite. I wouldnt put them in the small tank together, because the less room they have, to more fighting there will be.

Oh and the silvers scientific name is no longer quadrifasciatus, it has been changed to Polota

Thanks for the advice, it turns out that they wont be ordered for another 2 weeks in anycase and the store wont let me have them for a 10 days after that for qurantine. Went with 2x campeli at 5-7 inch and 2x microlepis at 4-6 inch for a total set back of £180. A reasonable price for the area im in!

You will most likely have problems with the 2 NGT. Make sure there are plenty of hiding spots
