Hello all.
I have currently got a 250litre tank with 10 odessa barbs, 6 western rainbow fish and a BN pleco. I asked in the cichlid forum and got suggestions for a T bar cichlid or Convict however my local shops dont have any and are full of geophagus and oscars.

Would a red tailed shark fit in this tank? I have used aqadvisor and was playing around with some species but thought id better get it double checked.

According to aqadvisor this tank could suffice 3 geohpagus surinamensis and a red tailed shark too but this seems a bit much for me so looking for advice!

Sorry for delayed reply, its a fluval roma 240 measuring 120cm x 40cm x 55cm.
My mistake it isnt 250 its 240!

The aquarium is too small for the Geo's and the suggestion of the T-Bar or Convict is good.

Would a T Bar live happily alongside 10 Odessas, 6 Westerns, 1 BN and a RTS? Should I give up on the idea of a RTS?

Tbh it sounds like it could work but depends on the T-Bars personality. I personally think RTS can be butt heads but that's just me lol. Give the T-Bar a go and hopefully things go well.

RTS are A-holes, proceed with caution.
You could consider Flying fox or Siamese Algae Eaters. They look similar.
