Oops..I thought you can easily find home for the angelfish. If you still don't want to remove the angelfish, you have an option to select a few species of pencilfish, tetras, dwarf cichlids and small species of catfish such as the corydoras. Try the apistogrammas or blue rams. Though both can be a little challenging to keep, they are nevertheless rewarding when they thrive well in your tank. If you like tetras, choose the columbians, diamond or black phantoms. Most deep-bodied tetras will nip off the angelfish's fins hence inadvisable to try. Some tetras may end up eaten by the angelfish especially neons. Rummy-nose tetras though should be fine.
