This tank is planted and has :

1 - 3” green phantom pleco (can remove)

looking for some kind of a stunner / stunners - as this sits in my kitchen area -

was thinking a pair or 3 - discus ?

don’t know if there’s a mini flower horn ?

group of spotted congo puffer ? don’t wanna feed clams

one acará and few rams?

dwarf crenchila and other dwarf cichlids

i’d like to keep it planted if possible but not super important-

i can add a little canister if needed -

must take dry food -

thanks in advance!

A dwarf pike cichlid, some rams, and a school of taller bodied tetras would make a nice display.

Not sure if you are looking for a larger fish but what about a betta sorority?

Or a community tank full of livebearers such as Poecelia wingei, Xiphophorus maculatus, and Poecelia latipinna Dalmatian. Sorry if I got some names wrong. Have been studying little livebearers and got them off the top of my head. Also, Keyhole Cichlids come to mind as well. Breeding pair?

I think a pair of discus would look phenomenal but probably not long term since I’ve seen some plate sized ones lol. A group of puffers (congo, fugu, avocado) would be cool too. If you breed snails (which is surprisingly easy) I don’t think you will need clams.

If you do go puffers, what about amazons? They are beautiful and pretty easy to feed. They need beak trimmings though.

found a guy with congo puffers - got a buy 5 get one free deal ? - not sure if i could get them on krill -

on the discus - i could move them to another tank eventually- id imagine i’ll have a 125g with an oscar, flag tail, and one koi angel, and some scattered CL’s -

good ideas!

i had one - sedated it - tried to trim its beak - failed- fish did live -

thought about that though -
