thanks for the info so far guys I was thinkin that a lmb would get big an cost alot so my second option were either small mouth bass or rock bass since they are alot smaller so I may get 2 small mouth basss instead with the perch an bull heads

Small mouth bass are just a little smaller in size than a LMB so that sucker would get big too. Last Fall I caught a small mouth bass that was measured at 19" so they are monsters. Also smallies are actually more aggressive than LMB so if you don't want that aggressive fish then scratch a smallie out of the list.

Rock Bass on the other hand are small but they look more like a sunfish IMO. They are nice looking though and I plan on catching some this spring to stock in my tank.

Ya ok then
so how about I put in 3 or 4 rock bass 6 or so yellow perch an 2 bull heads
would that be overstocked ??? couse I was thinking of getting a sucker too but they get big I belive

From what I've heard Rock Bass don't live well in aquariums and die unexpectedly, but that's from what I've heard, never kept them but will go fish for some this spring.

I suggest getting 4 baby bullheads because they really thrive in a pack. You'll be entertain watching them also. The LFS that sells them have a lot in a tank and they just move around so much it's fun to watch. I only have 3 so they don't act the same but do follow each other around.
