I have a 65g (36x18x23) and I need stocking and tank decoration ideas. It will have dark brown pebbles for substrate but other then that its completely bare. So give me your ideas (no I will not go salt) :D

I've always liked putting large pieces of slate to build a shelf mixed with more of the substrate rock, and plants here and there on different levels I've built it up all the way to the top like that, I guess that's the cichlid keeper coming out in me. that tank is a good size for some silver dollars and irredecent sharks (at least for a while)

Thanks but I'm not a real fan of silver dollars and I dont want something that could outgrow the tank

Hmmm. How do you feel about loaches? Are you looking to plant in the tank or plastic? Any tank background? I prefer a black background, but it's not my tank. If you have dark brown gravel I'd steer towards a blue background or natural looking.

Loaches take to long to grow and the only way for me to get mass quantities would be to buy them small because of their price

Nah my friends into natives I'm not, Im looking for a couple species that I could get atleast 5 of that are brightly colored
