not sure how big it is but by the way its discribed im guessing 35-45 g

i was thinking a peaceful amazon tank, cardinal tetras, 3 german rams, maybe a geo or two?

whats your thoughts on what i should stock it with?

i like your idea. you could get the following:
8 cardinal tetra
3 blue rams
ive never heard of a geo. you could try some
silver dollars maybe? not sure if theyr compatible. you get get some hatchetfish for sure though :) just have a lid. they jump!

Silver dollars will get too big for that tank but I like the idea of german blue rams, you could go with some shell dwellers. You could do rams as well.

stick to fish that max out at around 4-5" so african cichlids or something similar.

I hada 45g hex and while it was nice and tall, it had avery small footprint, this is why you see alot of people use them as small salt tanks as you cna stack the rock high.

so i got the tank and it turns out its a 75, i was like woooohhooooo lol
im prob goin to get into some discus with german rams and geos, with a bunch of cardinal tetras

Take a pic of the tank!!!! A 75 hex is insane. I have a 35 which I got tired of telling myself to reseal it everyday day. It is now a hermit crab tank. lol

Its definitely nice getting stuff for free. Bargains can be had cheaply too. The question i pose to you, is do you really want to set this one up?

Hex tanks are a nice switch to get in touch with your creativity side, however once that novelty wears off quickly ( which is does ) then it becomes a hindrance!.

Id turn it into a green back on this one bud, as im sure every person ive talked to thats had a crack on this subject would say the same!

Just my opinion at any rate. I wish you good fortune bud ether way.
