They do get large, but they grow very slowly.

They dont grow slow if ya keep the water clean and keep nitrates low And feed them alot they love sinking shrimp pellets and raw shrimp

Curiosity? I've never seen a clown loach bigger than 5". So how is it going to outgrow a 55?

They can grow up to 16 inches. All though 10 inches is more common max size in a fish tank

wrong about that my clowns bullies my flowerhorns. lol I just know there poking them with there spine, but its funny to watch the flowerhorns tring to get away.

I guess it depends on the Cichlid, my Yellow Lab bullies my bigger Blue Cray lol
