Ok, I have a recently acquired 4x2x2, I'm looking at stocking it with a variety of oddballs. I'm thinking maybe a bichir or two, carnivorous pleco, possible eel, possible catfish and some type of mid to upper water oddball. The kick is I'd want them to be semi active as I'm going to have a webcam to view the tank from work :D I know a lot of those are nocturnal and that may not work like I want so thats why i'm asking.

Give me some suggestions folks. :naughty:

I would go with the bichirs some kind of eel type fish a catfish or a two but i'd be careful with the pleco most carnivorous plecos have srtong mouths that could seriously harm a catfish or bichir

For mid water fish mabye a knife fish , some type of cichlid or some barbs

a large, not so aggressive cichlid, like pearsei would be good to round out the stocklist along with the bichir of your choice and catfish.

sadly i wouldn't stock this much different than i would a 75.. the only difference between the two is a few inches of width..

a mating pair or parachromis or something would be nice.. or a few smaller cichlids..

maybe something like this

a pair of bolivian rams, firemouths, cons etc..
african bown knife
big school of hachetfish
and somthing like a school of ginat danios, tiger barbs, or somthing..

For activity go with senegal bichirs. For a pleco go with a royal and lots of driftwood. For cats get some pictus. Add some angels or severums for midwater and you're set.

some bichirs for the bottom, a gar for the top level, and maybe some balas or clown loaches too?

Edit: Dats would work too.
