Stocking ideas on a 120 gallon

put your wolf fish in there and get a couple of bichirs.
you could probably do a jar for a while too.

The wolf has a 50 breeder all to himself, he'll be in there till he reach's 14-15" then I'll move him to the 120, but I imagine that will be around 2 years from now so who knows what other tanks I'll have by then.

why does everyone say wolves grow slow?

Thats just what I've heard, I hear they grow fast till 10" or so then slow down. I power feed this guy and do 2x 50% WC a week so if they grow fast then I certainly hope it does for me. So far it's grown a little over an inch for me in about 1-2 months.

sadly i wouldn't stock this much different than i would a 75.. the only difference between the two is a few inches of width..

Sadly, also, a lot of people don't realize that.

Keep in mind that bichirs, an eel, and a catfish will all be effectively sharing the floor of the tank, and the pleco will spend time there too. When stocking bottom strata fish, you have to consider area, not volume.
