Tequila, which part of 125l or 33usg tank did you not understand (remembered it btw;))

Very nice looking wood:headbang2 You guys are really spoilt over there. I went rock hunting today in the local brook but to no avail , need to wait until the proper river season starts and I can go all Sam Fisher:naughty::naughty:

Where the goggle smile?

These are some superb pictures of big pieces :) I really like the last picture as it shows how a bank looks like... very inspiring for tank decor :)

Opps, I forgot to thank master Tequila for the pictures:) Again it's shows how spoilt you guys are over there:irked:

I may have another trip out tomorrow for some good rocks, this new shift with the extra day off is messing with my mind, sod it I may as well go fishing instead;)

Ok nothing really to report but here's the tank now, the floating plant at the top is Salvinia, to create more shade in the tank:

And now for the fun bit, as the wood is clearly to big, I've decided to break it up and use the smaller pieces to create the height at the back, just a shame I've not got any power tools to use:naughty:

Params are ok so when I've finished I may even get a fish:nilly:

The smaller wood is going to cover the the slate but maintain the cave, my dad found me a huge round rock that would fill most of the tank, not to mention crack the glass, so I left it:eek:

When I've finished the back ground won't be needed:irked: It will be full of wood, I may need another piece to completely cover it:)

Due too a minor personal issue I can't start cracking the wood apart until 1230 tomorrow, so I'm off fishing tomorrow instead:naughty: On Wednesday I'm going fishing with Mrs Y to that pond I told you about so I'll be updating your pictures thread with some nice carp, that seemingly can't be caught:(

Wood is split and as expected I need another piece to cover the background, if nothing else it'll keep the Mauritians happy;)

I'll get the piece tomorrow and whilst I'm there I'll pick up the first inhabitant if they are still going cheap, an L190:headbang2 One fish at a time so I'll keep it on it's own for a bit just to make sure things are ok.

To save posting more pictures the wood leaning on the filter split just nicely into 3, the other wouldn't split at all, so I think I'll try and incorporate that into another cave using rocks. It will be an interesting conversation, 'that's a nice piece of wood I could work wonders with it with an axe'

Hopefully, pictures tomorrow...............

Fish are in, L190 as planned and a L260, more wood added. The aquascaping was not done due to the time it took to get the fish home and wanted to get them warmed up as soon as, I can't remember the last time I floated a bag but first fish in nothing to contaminate my water:)

The L190 is happy and enjoying the joys of wood but is hiding, see the odd tail flash as it moves to another sucking spot, when I finish moving the wood about all the hiding spots will face outwards so I can see them. The L260 is showing signs of stress, not helped by the fact that it took 4 or 5 tries to get it out of the bag as it kept attaching it's self to the bag:irked: It has however took some time to 'clean' one of fake fish that we forgot to take out before they were added. I've put the lights on for an hour or so now, but they'll be off for most of the night and tomorrow while they settle in.

I'll feed a little blood worm for the 260 later and a bit of green for 190 but it's more interested in the wood at the moment

A terrible photo of the L190 enjoying the wood. Better pictures tomorrow I promise;) Couldn't resist a quick snap:
