Ok some of you may have read my post about my landlord allowing fish tanks, then a neighbor got involved (still havent figured out who did it), then I had to return the tank.

After a couple of days I went out a bought a 10 gallon tank Im not too happy but atleast i have and tank and i can call it mine. Then when I move in Feb., I will be getting a 75+ gallon tank

So I was doing some research on what can go into a ten gallon tank. I was going to buy a JD (1inch) to put in there until I move and he will go in the bigger tank. Then I was thinking of a puffer fish. Or I can skip that idea and go with a mixed tank of something (NO GOLDFISH) and the get the 75 gallon with the JD.

Could I have some ideas for the 10 gallon tank.

i think a 10 gallon tank with a single freshwater moray eel would be cool.

Don't listen to Sheajared there is no such thing as a freshwater moray, there is only a saltwater. ( But they are born in brackish and head up to the ocean as they get older )
Here are some ideas for a 10 gallon grow out as long as you get the 75 in a few months.
Spiny eels
Mormyrids
payara ( scomb )
Avocado puffer, red eye, dwarf ( not green spotted since they are saltwater )
african cichlids
Red belly piranha ( atleast 7, but you would soon need a 150+ gallon tank when they get to big for the 75 0
Black ghost knife, african knife
Jaguar cichlid
silver dollars
Pike cichlid
High fin wolfe
False gars
Sterlet
tiger barbs
axolotl ( not fish )
