sorry, was not aware of your location :D. I would say arowanas are a solid choice, but they are quite care intensive. Bichirs are amazing fish in my opion and I hope to own one once back in cali. Shame about the gars though, really a great fish. I do not think piranahs are that great because they are reclusive and lack character, however a friend loves em to peaces. Once again the most entertaining fish i have ever owned was a walking catfish! he was extremely brave and was always asserting dominance, fortunately my gar is uber mellow. However Machunga the walking catfish is no longer with us, he died of unknown cause.

a beautiful nile bichir.

hahaha yeah i like the idea of a bichir those would be fine with aros right? because they are just at the bottom? and they are carnivorous right?

You're looking at just bichirs as far as fishes that will work in there for life; everything else that was mentioned is either illegal on the state and/or federal level (true gars, Asian arowana, piranhas, walking catfish & snakeheads) and/or will outgrow that aquarium quickly/eventually (RTC & silver arowana).

You could easily use it as a grow-out for a silver arowana, though, so you could get one of those if you make arrangements for obtaining a larger aquarium when need be. A silver arowana would be fine with bichirs provided that there isn't too big of a size difference; young arowanas can be fragile, so you would want to keep it by itself until it gets bigger than 10" or so.

okay thank you and yeah i am planning on getting a bigger tank i want a 200+ so thanks for all the information everyone i guess now i just have to get it all set up cycle it and then go to the lfs and see what i want haha
