I need help choosing fish for my tank,I know I want a some sort of bichir but what else could go with it it's a 60g





Water is still cloudy had to move sand and everything around then add water clarifier in there so need some fish by tomorrow

Go for some smaller polys in the poli complex and maybe a rope fish and maybe a cichlid or two?

I was thinking of a sen bichir fire eel and a green terror and maybe a butis butis??

I think a fire eel would outgrow your tank and possibly eat some of the fish, not sure tho so just wait for the experts. A sen would be a pretty good starting bichir. Gots lots of personality. But if you want some color I suggest you go with another bichirs like a delhezi or two. Or if you want to keep the tank for a community why not consider the rope fish. Just like a sen only longer and doesnt get as thick so wont eat bigger food. I think a single green terror with the polys would work in your tank size.

I want to grow these fish out and I know im going to have to move them to a bigger tank later on, wich is ok I have 2 tanks in storage might pull one out when the eel and other fish start growing and hit the 12inch mark?
I like delhezi but their not as aggressive as the sen or albino wich I kind of like lol
Im not so good with rope fish I always had bad luck with them their not as hardy

Well just got back from fish store
And








I know he had fin rot but he was soo beautiful and interactive I thought he might need a special home for now I have a pictus catfish and a green terror any suggestions would be appreciated

Matbe add some sajica or meeki, they do great in small groups. And you might have some fry if you get the ratio correct.

thanks hes pretty special to us lol cant wait for it to get bigger really looking forward to seeing how it turns out, hes colors are even more beautiful in person too bad the camera cant show it lol, for tankmates im not too sure,i was thinking of adding a Senegal or 2 and maybe like 1 more pictus or four line catfish maybe some Raphael. and for top/middle swimmer im not too sure I need help if anyone has any suggestions??
