My rays and peacock bass are graduating to their 300g so I'll have an empty 180g with nothing to put in it.

Any ideas for a large/rare cichlid or pair I can put in there.

I've had Oscars, JD's, and Jags in the past, 15+ years ago, so preferably something different, unique.

Crenicichla genus (eg. cincta, multispinosa, tapajos or acutirostis) with Caquetai Myersi or a shoal of festivums.

Beautiful pikes! My LFS got a pair of pikes in recently. Not sure what kind but they were asking $600 for the pair, on sale for $400 right now.

Did you have Mesoheros Festae back then? A pair of them are stunning in breeding colors.

I've never had Festae. They are BEAUTIFUL. Thank you for the suggestion, I'll def be in the lookout for a pair.

If you like the looks of Flowerhorns but don't want a man made fish look at Amphilophus Lyonsi. They are next on my list. Big red eyes, a flower line, red and yellow with vertical black bars like Festae, and if that's not enough, let's toss in some blue spangles to boot

Not my video but a good one of them
