ok soI have two tanks a 75g and a 125g standard dementions right now this is the stocking

125g
-two oscars 8-9"
-1 spotted pictus
-13" common plec

75g
- 1 4-5 inch jack dempsey male + 15 x 1.5" baby Jacks babys will be going soon
- 2 x Polypterus delhezi 7"

what would be the optimal arrangement for maximum fish I can get cant get anymore tanks now so im going to try and fit everything together like tetris lol well within reason dont wanna over stock

Thanks!!

IMO i think the 75 gallon is over stocked. The delhezis will grow around 17~inches from what i saw and that's not really good in a 48x18x21 tank

Sounds like the 75 can get some more fish, maybe like a school of something decent sized. like black skirt tetras or gouramis.

ok so what do you suggest I do he is I estimate over 5 yrs and only 13" he has only grown 1 inch in the 2-3 yrs I have had him

That's about right in terms of size and growth. That pleco still has at least another 15 years easily, and it can pack in a few more inches in length and more girdth in that time. If you're going to keep that pleco, start doing more larger water changes now and see if you can do it long term. 2 Fin level water changes every 3 days.

Personally would get rid of the common placo but each to their own, then add a ctenopoma to the 75 mine does well with bichir.
