mine was not active, unless i had a good view then it would promptly move so i no longer did.

SAP's teeth grow way too fast and almost always require dental work, which i for one am not comfortable with doing

That’s the one downside lol

How difficult is it to get a red wolf fish? I have never seen one in a lfs

I’ve only seen one in person, pretty easy to find online though.

Think flowerhorn energy half the time and lurker the other half. it's on my list of fish to keep again but next time i hope to get a group of 6-8 at a small size and raise them together.

How big a tank? A group would be awesome but all I ever see is that they kill each other in captivity.

If you are going to buy one online, get next day delivery and wait until past March to order one. Next day delivery will more likely cost more than the wolf itself.

not sure what i'd use, i'd probably start with a 40b full of pvc fittings. i think with a lot of fish we tend to keep the groups too small to work, you need more to dissipate aggression. my take anyways.
I have quite a few empty tanks at home 40b, 48x24, a cpl of 75's, a 90 and 125.. could bump them up as needed a lot of times tank size is overstated. There are ppl who keep groups of fahakas in 120 and breed them
