cassharper, it's an above ground pond, your depth reference doesn't apply as much here.

nitrofish1, you can use would under the pond, but don't have any airflow (ie lay them flat, side by side. The concrete will still be cold under the pond even with a space heater. Pond temp stability is what we are after here.

Concrete block can be used to support the stock tank too (give it a little elevation).

in that case i would porbably use brick to hold it up, i wouldnt be too sure of something with gaping holes in it holding it up, although i know it could be done, id feel better with bricks.
