stocking level

Im thinking of adding another bichir to the tank

I am planning on moving and would upgrade my 150 to probably a 180 or 210 at the minimum i dont believe in stocking a tank with the plans to upgrade. So in the event that i dont move (which isnt gonna happen but lets say i dont)


If i move my l200 pleco to another tank the 150 would be stocked as follows.

1 pearsei

1 heterospilus

1 dehelzi bichir

1 ornate bichir

1 mokelembembe or similar (retropinnis or gold dust) bichir


Would this tank be a nightmare to maintain good water quality? Figure in the adult sizes.


Its filtered by a 2262 and ac110 (purigen)
I would like to avoid doing wc everyother day or putting any of the fish health in jeopardy

I am under the opinion you know just as much as me when it comes to water quality and what can be supported. that being said if you are not comfortable with it, knowing what you know, do not do it.

Just my 2 cents.

Im thinking the bichir im looking into is one of the smaller/med sized fish and trading it out for the l200 poop machine ...well ya know where im going with it lol
