Stocking list, need opinions please

I would probably leave out the blue rams ive just never had good luck with them but you still shouldnt have a big problem if you keep each cave or coconut shell bout 8in away from each other and use some plants in between as a visual barrier i like wisteria seems to grow pretty good for me with moderate light.

I don't know how the rams react with the apistos or even how the 2 types of apisto react to each other but 3 male and 5-6 females work fine in a 55g, they need a few stands of plants or pieces of wood/rock to break up the bottom into claimable territorries, each male needs a space of it's own about 9-12" across. If there is a physical boundary like a peice of wood a couple inches tall they use it as a border.
For small tetras like rummy nose you can use the cubic inch rule as a rough guide to determine maximum stocking levels, figure 1 1/2"x1/2"x1/4" max so 5 per gallon is absolute max cut that in half and you are better off.
you could easily stock 50 small tetras, a dozen marbled hatchets, a dozen of the smaller cories, 9 apistos or other dwarf cichlids in a 55g tank and even have room for a Hypopygus lepturus knifefish if you could find them. they only get 3-4" long.
With some plants and the filters you mentioned it would work fine. I have kept similar tanks.
