WHY 6 oscars and 3 tinfoils? You should reverse those numbers. 6 tinfoil 3 oscars. Unless you have 6 already get 6 tinfoils instead.
I know you are an oscar fan, and I have owned an oscar and they are awesome... but... does it have to be six? Tinfoil are schooling species and oscars are not so much. Are you planning to breed them? ??

agree, lowe the number of oscars, but otherwise, there is no compatibility issue, and assuming great filtration, then good on bioload
im with the 3 oscars and 6 tinfoils, IMO its nicer to have bigger shoal, less bioload and more space
well... I would like to keep 6 oscars. I only suggested 3 tinfoil barbs because they are going to be in my tank for dither fish not because I like them.
Go with 6 Oscars. It's your tank, do what you want. Oscars are great fish and with 6 the agression will be spread out so none will get badly hurt if their all the same size. I think a tank with 6 Oscars would just look amazing, yes you would need hell of a filtration system for them, but really worth it IMO.
thanks. Thats why I wanted to put all my oscars together. all the agesstion will be spread out on all the oscars and none should get singled out. I have a 70 gallon sump but my pump is 2640 gph and I am going to use 2 cascade 1000s
