stocking my new 135

I got a new (new to me) 135g the wife wants a jd (not one of my favorite cichlids) so I wanted to hear what cichlids and other cool fish you guys would put in there with the jd

to me this seems waybe a little over stocked what do you guys think

That might just work. I'd give it a try. You can always remove 1 later on. I'm assuming you're going to get small fish and let them grow up together. I like the V. Regani idea.

in a 135 it all depends on your filters.U dont want two or 3 big fish in there with one heavyduty filter.what filters are u using now.If u have proper filtration i would get one or two buttikoferi or maybe a texas cichlid pair. I would say one reddevil with the dempsey but reddevils are known to snap.They might do well tho.

i think every thing will be good except the texas maybe, maybe it was just my experiance but my texas only picked on my jd and left every one else alone!!

but, try it out it should be ok.

I am not worried about the filters I always go over kill my inline set up for this tank is going to be
